The Public Health Steering Team-Uganda (PHSTU) Is an Award-Winning Quality of Life (QoL) Catalytic Game-changer Fostering Individual Agency

The Public Health Steering Team-Uganda (PHSTU) is about centering Public health principles at the core of the missions of the organizations we work with.

PHSTU is about agency, autonomy, productivity and self-determination by individuals, households and communities in Africa. Through targeted interventions PHSTU catalyzes transformation and through systems and structures it embeds a self-evaluative culture that sustains best-practices.

Through the work we do, we showcase the potential of Public Health principles and essentials in driving growth whose lessons can be shared throughout Africa, leveraging individual engagement in demanding for services, motivating governments and private entities (Public-Private Mix) to invest in services that foster innovation and entrepreneurship. These services in turn pivot households and communities as accessible and appropriate economic powerhouses and social-cultural transformative platforms.

We employ adaptive Public Health Frameworks and advisory menus which are broken down into equitable actionable cues. We tap into Public Health principles which influence individuals, household members and communities to engage in activities and businesses emulable at a world stage, providing the opportunities to showcase how ideas turn into ambition, dedication, and accomplishments that contribute to the critical milieu of solution products or consumables in an ever-expanding good health and wellbeing market.

Public Health principles are a backdrop against which peole are empowered to be productive and able to build corporate landscapes upon which standards improve and hence their quality of life.

We continue to reach out to communities through identifying individuals or households as the units for supporting programme participants to effectively develop a peerage network of more consumers and producers. This is what we believe will develop high-impact Public Health campaigns that create first-class consciousness about best-practices contributing to quality life outcomes.

Public Health should be seen as a brand that ultimately empowers people to move the empathy needle toward achieving their dreams, toward being able to establish routines and patterns that in turn contribute to mental, social and physical health.

When people are empowered to uphold their agency, autonomy, self-determination and productivity they in turn are able to contribute to a winning culture at the local level which can be plugged into global aspirations.

Public Health must foster a positive impact on people and local economies which are stimulated through performance, productivity, quality of products and services, and satisfaction.
