Tom Mukasa is a Public Health Strategist with over 35 years of imparting health promotion and education at conscious, subconscious, social, national and international levels. A practitioner and a healthy living skills promoter champion, a facilitator of process-driven events, skilled in advising and one capable of leveraging individuals or communities to examine the consequences of decisions as well as aspire to a fuller picture of life's outcomes. Tom develops efficacious models distilling the "public" in Public Health thereby locating it in people-centred outcomes linking the "health" aspirations in Public Health to good health and wellbeing for all, for all age-groups, across the entire range (spectrum) of humanity to backdrop diversity; embedding the Child, Adolescent, Teenager, Adult and Seniors (CATAS) Model to advance inclusion and equity. Tom takes communities through analysis sessions to decipher priorities, gauge and sense the direction they are shifting and competing. In times when new norms are emerging such as pandemics, climate change related disruptions and crises, the last-mile or frontline communities require a catalytic mobiliser to empower them to engage in re-education and re-organising how they perceive lives. Tom has the skill-set to take communities through sessions enabling them to tap into Public Health Facilitation Frameworks to improve on their wellbeing; turn Public Health aspirations into a force to re-orient communities toward appreciating the values and outcomes of self-help initiatives, develop heuristics linked to economic, physical, cultural, political, gender, civic and social domains of self-determination fostering better life outcomes.
